The Cologne Game Farm has new members! The CGL Business Incubator supports the development of game ideas into finished products, giving participating students and alumni the opportunity to leverage their training and knowledge to bring their project to market within a year.
Ten teams of students and alumni applied for admission to the incubator. Now, 4 teams have been added to the program:
- Team “Catboy”, Arthur Eckmann (CGL), Thomas Flachs (RWTH Aachen)
- Team”Fantastic Foe” team, Imaad Manzar, Su-Jin Song, Malte Ditmann, Tobias Süttem (all CGL)
- Team “Giant Door”, Corrado Mariani, Sarah Abouzari, Anil Ayaz (all CGL)
- Team “Jessika”, Seren Besorak, Sarah Abouzari, Pierre Schlömp (all CGL)
The team “Ludopium” around Juan Orjuela, Utz Stauder, Bálint Márk, György Droste was already part of the program since last year, their promotion was extended by 6 months.
The other accepted teams can develop a promising business plan and marketable ideas within a period of 12 months, in order to start up their own business. Throughout the process, the founders receive a variety of advice and support from industry experts.
The CGF was established by the Cologne Game Lab and the Förderverein “Friends of the Cologne Game Lab” e.V. and is heavily supported by the City Magistrate of Cologne - Department for Media and Internet Business
