Our next guest lecture is coming up tonight, featuring Carl Smith, Director of the Learning Technology Research Centre (LTRC) and Principal Research Fellow at Ravensbourne University London, and his talk titled “Gaming across Realities using Extended Reality (XR) Technologies and Context Engineering (CE) Methodologies“. In his talk Smith will address questions ranging from “How adaptable is our perception?” to “How can we develop and use emerging mixed reality technologies to generate new forms of experience and induce new perceptual realities?”…

During the week from May 20 to 24 the regular teaching activities for B.A. students at Cologne Game Lab will be put on hold, so that students are able attend the sixth edition of ProfiL² Week. ProfiL² is a concept by the TH-Köln to foster top quality teaching by offering workshops with a more projectbased structure and probem based learning. Both approaches should  bring teaching closer to vocational realities.
