Gaming-Aid grants its first scholarship to CGL student

On Thursday, November 29, the charitable NGO Gaming-Aid e.V. granted its first-ever scholarship called Gaming-Aid Stipendium (GAST) and enabled a young student to follow her studies at Cologne Game Lab. Alba Pläp-Golfe began her studies of Digital Games with a focus on Game Arts in the winter term 2018/19. On top the Düsseldorf based game developer Ubisoft Blue Byte, which supports the scholarship as a partner via its so called “Campus Initiative”, will accompany Alba’s studies, offering internships and workshops.

About the Gaming-Aid Stipendium GAST:

The scholarship was initiated by Gaming-Aid together with members of the gaming industry in 2017. A ten-member jury decides which applicant qualifies for the support. The scholarship addresses talented young students in the field of Game Design as well as related studies, who are in need of financial support.
